Special Post Office
Lots of post offices have been rebuilt recently, and the inside is much smaller than local banks. There are not many youthful workers. I recently know that there are three kinds of post offices which are normal post office, special post office, and simple post office. Normal post offices are the general post office and approximately 1300 offices in the whole country, and there are approximately 20,000 special post offices. The difference between normal and special post offices is that a manager in special post office is a government official.
1. The manager owned the building and property of post office; therefore, the government pays rent to the manager.
2. The manager gets salary from the government as a government official.
3. There is age clause for the job, but their children usually take over the place.
4. The manager gets few million yen per year besides salary.
