Happy New Year!!
I did not send any New Year cards to
anybody this year, for I am in mourning. On the other hand, I guess that many
people whom I usually sent new Year cards may be happy because they do not have
to read my long letter.
I thought I was affected with the gout for
the reason that I often had an ache in my right foot, but my doc told me that
it was just an inflammation. Whooo-Hooo!! Thank God!! I can still drink a beer.
Last year was a disaster.
Japan was hit by lots of typhoons, and tsunami hit South Asia. More than 100,000 people are believed dead in Aceh and Northern Sumatra, while some 500,000 people are sheltering in scattered refugee camps across the province, the UN estimates. Large swathes of Banda Aceh, Meulaboh and Calang and their outlying districts are completely destroyed (News).

Tax cut in
income taxes will be changed from 2006. For instance, the income tax is from
20% to 10%. The resident tax is from 15% to 7.5%.
2. Enlargement of tax deduction in mortgage.
